The brix hold it up. The boards make it home.

Masonry and carpentry are two trades. Most remodels need both — so most remodels get two subcontractors, two schedules, and one homeowner stuck in the middle. Here, the same hands do both, and the job runs like one job.

The middle weeks

The part nobody photographs, done as carefully as the part everybody does.

Mud, tape, screed, and dust control. It's the unglamorous middle of a remodel that decides whether the finish lasts — and it's where corner-cutting hides. You're welcome to look over my shoulder the whole way.

How a job runs

Three steps. No surprises on step four.

Entry 1

The walkthrough

I come to your home, look at the real thing, and listen. Free, no obligation, and you'll get straight answers about what's worth doing.

Entry 2

The written quote

A fixed price and a week-by-week plan, in writing, within 72 hours. The number I quote is the number you pay.

Entry 3

One craftsman, start to finish

The person who quoted your job is the person swinging the hammer. Same truck in the driveway until the punch list reads zero.

The maker

A family shop, busy as the state it's named for.

Beehive Brix and Boards is a family-run remodeling shop working the Wasatch Front and Tooele Valley. Decades of hands-on trade work, one job at a time — with a grandson apprenticing in the summers and plans to grow a small crew the same way the work is done: carefully.

Until then, the schedule stays honest. A one-craftsman shop can't take every job — which is exactly why the ones it takes get finished right.
